Little Women Cast and Design Team Hard at Work!

Four March Sisters Rehearsing for Little Women

The Wellesley Players cast and crew of Little Women, The Musical are busy rehearsing for the upcoming October performances at the Black Box Theatre at the Arsenal in Watertown!  The cast is also preparing several “sneak preview” performances for the Wellesley Free Library on September 17 at 2 o’clock, Orchard House in Concord (Louisa May Alcott’s childhood residence) on September 25 and a live performance on Boston Neighborhood Television, Cable Channel 9, Monday night September 26, with Glenn Williams as host.

The cast features members, Alissa Palange as Amy, Gillian Gordon as Beth, Angela Richardson, as Jo March and Dave Wood as Professor Bhaer.  We are thrilled to welcome new members:  Suzanne Spezzano as Marmee, Todd Sandstrom as Laurie, Matthew Brendan Ford as John Brooke, Dan Moore as Mr. Laurence, Margaret McCarty as Aunt March and Olivia Rizzo as Meg.

So we need to spread the word, both about the “sneak previews” and the actual performances on October 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 8:00 and on October 9th at 7:00. Matinee performances are being held on Sunday October 9 and 16 at 2:00.   Tickets are now available by visiting our website:  www.wellesleyplayers.org.   The intimate Black Box space at the Arsenal Center in Watertown is a perfect venue for telling the timeless story of the March sisters.   Be sure to order your tickets early.   You don’t want to miss this wonderful, theatrical experience.
