DASH Awards for Annie

The nominees and categories are:

• Lauren Weintraub as “Annie” for “Best Youth Actress in a Musical”
• Jen Bubriski, Curt Fennell and Kelly Murphy as the “Villians” as “Best Specialty Ensemble (Musical)”
• Libby Ostrofsky as “Best Set Dressing (Musical)”

The Distinguished Achievement and Special Honors (DASH) service of EMACT allows member groups to submit an application for any or all shows in their season that they wish to have considered for awards. Members of an award nominating committee view shows submitted to the program, and score each element of the show based on standard criteria. Recognition is given for both plays and musicals in areas including performance, direction, stage management and lighting, sound and costume design. Winners will be announced at the annual Gala and DASH Awards Banquet.
